The British company Psion, which specializes in mobile networking, gaining 12.8% to 81.25 pence after it said its joint venture Symbian has received additional funding of 20.75 million pounds. Psion said Symbian, engaged in the development of operating systems for mobile phones, has secured additional funds from Matsushita, Motorola and Nokia and new financing from Ericsson.
